Icarus II Docking Connector Miniature
A miniature docking connector from the 'Icarus II'.
This miniature claw was part of the Icarus II's huge air lock and can be seen when 'Capa' and 'Kaneda' begin repairs on the solar shield and again later when the 'Icarus II' docks with the 'Icarus I'.
The well detailed miniature is constructed of a resin material, mounted to a thick girder-like base with inner cavity.
A nice example of movie miniature work from this highly regarded Danny Boyle science fiction movie.
