German Soldier Entrenching Tool
An entrenching tool used on the production of the Steven Spielberg war epic starring Tom Hanks.
This style of entrenching tool was carried by the German soldiers defending Omaha beach and Occupied France throughout the film.
The small spade has a metal head with a wooden handle and is complete with its leather holster for attachment to a German soldier’s webbing belt.
In production intentional fatigued condition.
