From the 1980 science fiction cult classic, starring Sam Jones in the lead role as Flash Gordon, comes this costume made for one of the Handmaidens.
Such a style of Costume can be seen worn by the glamorous Handmaidens during the suitably lavish and extravagant Emperor Ming reception ceremony.
The bikini like garment is intricately covered in hand applied metallic sequin beads of a purple/copper hue with the name 'Carolyn' hand written on the inside.
Exhibits signs of age wear but remains in very good condition and presents nicely.
Flash Gordon pieces become increasingly difficult to source and wardrobe such as this from the film seldom surfaces on the collectors market.
