Peter Cushing Shirt
A shirt made for Peter Cushing in his starring role as 'Sir John Rowan' in the classic horror movie.
Such a style of shirt can be seen worn by the character whilst in his laboratory.
Custom tailored for the actor by M. Berman Ltd and still retaining their costumier tag to the inside collar, the hand written production details have faded/washed out.
Accompanied by two contemporary to the period laundry dry cleaning bags from the Whitstable Model Laundry in which this shirt had been stored. Peter Cushing lived in Whitstable, off and on, from 1958 and this shirt was one retained by the actor after filming.
A very rare artefact from the illustrious career of the legendary actor.
