ANNE OF THE THOUSAND DAYS (1969)

A stunning costume made for Richard Burton in his lead role as King Henry VIII in the 1969 classic movie.

The costume comprises of two parts, a sleeveless heavy robe with a frock type heavy vest. Both being elaborately decorated with wire embroidery and ornamental designs, of outstanding quality and visual appearance.Both parts can be seen worn by Richard Burton during different sequences, sometimes separately to each other.

There have been some minor cosmetic alterations subsequent to filming for alternative production use and the costumier labels are no longer present.
