Doctor Dillamond was a Goat who had the ability to speak and interact with humans. Because he was one of the only animal professors at 'Shiz University', he was subjected to discrimination from his students and colleagues. However, Elphaba Thropp took a liking to him. Doctor Dillamond's death causes the character 'Galinda' to change her name to simply 'Glinda' because he could not pronounce the first syllable.
Constructed of a flexible thick rubber like material with positioning for separately applied horns. Make-up would have been additionally applied for each performance.
