A three quarter length overcoat made for Michael York in his co-starring role as 'Basil'.
The actor can be seen wearing such an overcoat in numerous sequences in the film.
The black overcoat features large neckline lapels, slanted side pockets and a large singular fastening button. The interior retains the original 'M. Berman Ltd' costumier label which details the actor's name.
Exhibits expected production and age wear otherwise in very good condition.
A very significant and identifiable costume from the highly regarded Phillippe De Broca movie.
