TROYLysander Shield

From the 2004 Wolfgang Petersen epic starring Brad Pitt comes this Myrmidon Shield carried by 'Lysander' (Owain Yeoman).Best seen during the invasion of the beach of Troy sequences. Only three such Shields, with three large metal studs, are seen on screen and this one can be well matched to the one brandished by 'Lysander'. 'Lysander' is Commander of the Myrmidons under 'Achilles' (Brad Pitt).The Shield is constructed of a painted canvas covered curved and shaped wood with added three large metal stud detailing to the front.Exhibits production wear but remains in very presentable condition.A wonderfully decorative prop which can be justifiably regarded as screen matched.
