From the 1980 science fiction cult classic, starring Sam Jones in the lead role as Flash Gordon, comes this visually stunning Headdress worn by one of planet Mongo's inhabitants. The Headdress can be seen during the suitably lavish and extravagant planet Mongo ceremony sequences but perhaps best seen during the Flash Gordon execution scenes. Highly distinctive and indicative in colour and style of the whole film, the large Headdress is beautifully made with incredible intrinsic beaded detailing to the front large 'tiara' panel section with a multitude of long protruding lengths of feather type boas. The Headdress is in remarkably very good condition and presents superbly. Flash Gordon pieces become increasingly difficult to source and wardrobe from the film seldom surfaces on the collectors market.
