EAGLE HAS LANDED, THEParatrooper Helmet

A prop Polish Paratroopers helmet used in the 1976 classic WW2 film starring Michael Caine and Donald Sutherland.Such Helmets can be clearly seen in numerous scenes being worn by Colonel Steiner (Michael Caine) and his German Paratrooper squad whilst in disguise as Polish airmen. The helmet appears to have been converted from an original metal WW2 era British tankers helmet, adapted to accept the paratroopers chin strap with leather cup for it's film use and features a hand painted Polish Crowned Eagle crest on the front in yellow.The Helmet is accompanied by a large Angels Costumiers identification wardrobe label detailing the film's title.Originating from the world famous Angels Costumiers.
