SUPERMAN 2 (1980)

An interesting grouping to include a miniature 'Bus Stop No Standing' and 'One Way Sign' and a miniature section of Brick Wall, all from the Metropolis miniature set. Together with two different model reference photographs and an unusual production photograph of a Metropolis stunt action sequence.

Both miniature signs can be clearly seen on screen during Superman's battle with Zod, Non and Ursa. The reference photographs are of real 'street furniture' which were taken to construct corresponding miniature versions of the same items. One photograph is hand annotated with measurements.

All items were sourced from the same member of the miniature effects crew on the film which was headed by the legendary Derek Meddings.
