EVIL UNDER THE SUNDiana Rigg Dress

From the 1982 classic Agatha Christie movie, starring Peter Ustinov in the lead role as 'Hercule Poirot', comes this absolutely stunning evening dress worn by co-star Diana Rigg as 'Arlena Marshall'.The dress can be clearly seen worn by the character during the evening get together at the hotel where Diana Rigg sings by the piano.The dress is exquisitely custom made of a multitude of hand applied sequins and is incredibly heavy. The renowned Anthony Powell was Costume Designer on the film and interestingly a couple of years later he was also Costume Designer on Indiana Jones and The Temple Of Doom where the character 'Willie Scott' wears a similarly constructed dress in the opening sequence.
