From the 1992 cult movie, described as Aliens meets Blade Runner, comes this costume for Rutger Hauer in his leading role as 'Stone'.Comprising of a black padded Jacket with various detailing, to include a 'London Central Division' embroidered patch to the right chest together with a white T-Shirt. As worn by Rutger Hauer in the story important 'flashback' sequences .According to the Wardrobe Supervisor, who retained the Jacket after filming, due to the film's low budget and resulting wardrobe restrictions a rank strip from each shoulder and a reflective strip to the Jacket back were removed actually during production, after the flashback sequences had been shot, for alternative subsequent production use of the Jacket. The Wardrobe Supervisor also recounts that the embroidered Patch may have been added post the flashback scenes but can not be certain but recollects that the T-Shirt was torn by the Alien in an extended scene which was cut from the final edit.The Jacket still retains the original wardrobe department character identification label to the interior. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the film's Wardrobe Supervisor together with a copy of a production Call Sheet.Pieces from this movie are near impossible to source and this set is probably the most important to ever surface on the open market.
