MERLIN (2008)

From the highly successful fantasy adventure BBC Television series comes this highly impressive prop hero Sword, complete with scabbard, made for the leading character 'Arthur', portrayed by Bradley James.'Arthur' is second only in prominence to 'Merlin' himself in the series and has featured in every episode. Such a style of Sword can be best seen utilised by the character during the second season story 'Sweet Dreams'.Interestingly the Sword is a longer two handed variation of the Sword belonging to 'Uther Pendragon', Arthur's father.Beautifully crafted, the Sword is constructed of all metal with an intricately detailed braid style handle and Lion motif pommel. Still accompanied by it's original leather scabbard with belt loop to the rear. The Sword shows evidence of production use and the leather sheath is blackened in some areas but both are in overall superb condition.A visually beautiful prop of the highest quality.
