MERLIN (2008)

From the highly successful fantasy adventure BBC Television series comes this simply stunning Sword, complete with sheath, made for the leading character 'Uther Pendragon', portrayed by Anthony Head.Uther Pendragon, Arthur's father, was one of the central leading characters and featured in 42 episodes through to his death in Season 4. Such a style of Sword can be clearly seen utilised by the character throughout his role.It is understood that two slightly different styles of this Sword were made for production, the type offered here and a longer two-handed version with a plain cross guard. Beautifully crafted, the Sword is constructed of all metal with an intricately detailed braid style handle and Lion motif pommel. Still accompanied by it's original leather Sheath with belt loop to the rear. The Sword shows evidence of production use and the leather sheath is blackened in some areas but both are in overall superb condition.A visually beautiful prop of the highest quality.
