AVENGERS, THE (TV)1968 Black Catsuit

The popularity of the British television series 'The Avengers' was at an amazing peak in the late 1960's. So much so that in 1968 a licensed limited designer fashion range was produced in conjunction with the Show. Very little is known about the range but it is believed to have only been sold exclusively through selective large department stores in London, such as Selfridges. Needless to say, today any items from this range are incredibly rare and only a very few are currently known to still exist.This 'Emma Peel' Catsuit/Jumpsuit from the range is black with cream collar and a zipper front. It may have originally had a belt but otherwise is in wonderful condition.A rare opportunity to purchase such a piece of Avengers and TV Culture history.
