ADAM AND THE ANTS (1980)
Original Costume Design Trio
Three different unique original costume designs for members of the group, circa 1980.
The designs are by Eve Goddard who was Adam Ant's wife at the time and also designed the group's costumes. Each hand drawn design is dated '1980' in her hand.
Each design is accompanied by a large swatch collage of corresponding material samples indicating the materials required for each costume.
The designs and their corresponding Swatch collages are presented in period framed and glazed displays with descriptive 'Designed for Adam And the Ants' titles.
One of the costumes designs has been identified as being for a costume featured on the back of an album cover, see corresponding picture, the others likely for live performances.
A unique grouping from the highly successful eighties group.
